Hi all,
Totally new to all this, so please be kind!
I have recorded a few clips of a set of Crawlers I have in my Vanquish Legend. I am impressed with their versatility, so have recorded totally clean, low gain and high gain clips.
Gear used
Vanquish Legend Classic www.vanquishguitars.co.uk
Mesa/Boogie Lonestar Classic, close mic'd with Shure SM57.
Blackstar HT Dual, channel 1 (gain at 6) on Low Gain clip
Blackstar HT Dual, channel 2 (gain at 4) on High Gain clip
Crybaby Wah
No external effect, eq or processing.
Backing tracks by Groove Cartel www.groovecartel.co.uk
Hope you enjoy them. I have tried to switch between neck, bridge and combined settings as I go. Hope they are not too tame for all you guys with Nailbombs :D

Wow! Sweet tone! Sounds lovely! Great playing too! This isn't really my field of expertise, but even I know that it was bloody good. lol. Get a warpig now and give us some metal clips! :)

Thanks for the feedback, as I say, its the first time I have posted clips.
I am not adverse to a bit of metal, and try to squeeze in as much lead as my funk band members will allow :D
The Lonestar was set totally clean so all the gain and tone came from the Blackstar and the Vanquish which seem to work really well together. I had the gain set pretty low as well, which seems to get the best from the Crawlers.
I have only just taken delivery of the Vanquish and they really are top notch, if anyones after a high end semi custom build I would recommend checking them out. They will be at Music Live in Novemeber with a sweet selection of amps to try the guitars through.
Incl
Mesa/Boogie, Orange, Cornell, Two Rock, Hughes & Kettner

Well done, sir!
Very sweet tone and some impressive noodling.

I can only echo all the good things said so far :)
Great tone, impressive playing ( and a great advert for the Crawlers ! ).

The Clean and Low Gain clip are both awesome
The High Gain clip sounds a bit too 'soft' in the mix for my taste. I prefer a more cutting rock sound when playing with higher gain, but it could be just your personal set-up.
-
Yeah, its not the heaviest sound, but its not the highest gain either, I only had the Blackstar set at 4. If I was playing against a heavy backing track I would ramp it up a bit. Given the style of track, I tried to get it to 'sit' right against the backing or organ and bass.
I will try and do something heavier at some point. 8)

Dont forget to visit the Vanquish stand if any of you are at Music Live this weekend. All the guitars on display have BKP's in them.
