First I have to say that I bought his from Antag today. He delievered it himself and I couldn't be more thankful for that. Very nice guy too and even gave me some extras (couple sets of strings and nice strap and strap locks).
After years and years of wanting one but never having the money at the right time, I finally got a Gothic Flying V. It's in very good condition, the satin finish has only gone slightly shiny around the neck and where my arm will rub when I play. It resonates incredibly well and is already set up with some heavy strings, (13 - 62) so I don't have to mess around with it and it has a Bareknuckle Warpig already installed.
I used it today to record guitars for my bands new demo and it sounded amazing and played really well. I'm so damn happy with it.

I'll post a track later of one of my bands songs so you can hear how it sounds

I don't normally go for Vs but I like that one
Glad you are happy with it

Awesome! I would ask Tim to put black covers without screws on it... but it's up to personal taste

That's something I'm considering for the future. But I'm going to leave it for now.

Yep, that'll be metal then!

If I remember correctly, Tim won't do closed covers, he says they trash the tone.

No, I think there are pics of BKPs with closed covers around the forum. Personally I like to see the polepieces.
Nice looking guitar! :D

Nice guitar...but how does your mum feel about it? :D

She said she likes it, but your mum said she liked it a whole lot more

Zing!

 I knew it would bring someone pleasure :) Glad
she you like it!

excellent!

Not pointy enough for me, but if its from Antag you know its gotta be good quality.

I don't really go for pointy guitars. I did used to have a Jackson RR and a Washburn Dime Stealth (and came close to owning an NJ Ironbird) but the cases for those kind of guitars are huge. I look stupid with pointy guitars anyway
I checked the serial number of this too and it was built in 1999. For a guitar that old, you would think the satin finish would of been completely worn, but it looks new near. There's even some plastic sheet underneath the volume and tone controls. My mates Gothic Explorer is completely worn down and it's a couple of years younger than mine.

Anything with Dimebag's name on it makes me want to vomit, but that is a separate issue. I like pointy VEEs and pretty sharp edged Superstrats a la Ibanez RGs, other wise a pointy guitar that i like is hard to come by. For instance, i absolutely hate B.C. Rich instruments.
