I just finished recording guitars for my bands Demo. Using my new Gothic V with a Warpig, I used it for rhythm and the solo. I'm panned to the left on this track and the solo is all Warpig, the drums are rough because it's not mixed yet. Let me know what you think. On the right is the other guitarist using his Gothic Explorer with stock gibson pickups.
Tone is coming from a Line 6 toneport GX and a Boss SD-1.

Man, that's brutal as hell. :) Nice tone, nice pinch harmonics, solo was sweet too. :) Good job!

Sounds really great. Really nice playing, solo sounds spot on. Just out of curiosity, what is the rest of the setup (i.e. amp/cabs/etc...)
-
It's just a line 6 toneport GX. no amps or cabs. We don't have microphones to record our amps and we don't have the money to go back and record guitars in a studio. All vocals and bass will be recorded by ourselves too.
Thanks for the compliments though. I was going to play the original solo note for note, but I thought that would be a bit too predictable, so I added my own ideas and I think I done well with it.

the warpigs sound alot heavier than the 500t, even considering you used a POD. cool clip!

I've uploaded a more recent mix of Symphony Of Destruction. This one has bass guitar in there now and the levels are much better.
