I absolutely love this guitar. The red one is gorgeous. If only it didn't have a trem...
-
That's pretty baddass, but i am not sure i am totally enamoured with the shape.
-
Coda in Stevenage have the black/silver model in stock.
In person the shape is pretty ugly - an unnecessary mess-around with the King-V shape (IMO the KV2 is a gorgeous guitar). Proof positive that you can have too much of a good thing... :)
-
Seems its becuase that guy from Trivium moved from a KV to a Dean RazorV
-
I think the little cutaway bits would look better on an asymetrical V like a RR, and of course reverse headstock, but no trem and a bridge/middle HB combo instead of bridge/neck.. Am I being too fussy yet?
It's cool, I didn't know it was an actual production model I thought it was just a custom for Phil.

The production model is made in Japan (unlike Phil's which is a custom shop job). It's not an exact replica of Phil's which has a 3-way toggle instead of the lever switch & neck binding (& probably a few other differences...)
EDIT to add: Not that being made in Japan is a bad thing - they made the mid/late 80s Charvels there & my recently bought SL3 Soloist is a really good quality guitar...

Not to mention ESP and Ibanez? The former having imo the best quality control of all major brands on the market.

Yep, them too though I was talking specifically about Jackson's Japanese factory in my post - long history of VERY nice guitars coming out of there & at half the price of a US model, very good value too...

You could kill a lot of people with this...
Including yourself, I'd imagine. All those pointy bits look dangerous.
-
that looks weird to me, i dont like that inverted bernie rico jr style cutout.
cheers
