Did anyone else notice the only amp that was lit up when Pete Townshend was playing was a Orange Tiny Terror on top of an Orange 4x12 full-stack in the background?

Yep - and his Tele sounded (and looked) fantastic.

Better to have ended up like Clapton than an embarrassing old fool like Steven Tyler, Mick Jagger or Ronnie Wood, methinks.  You can't keep pretending to be 25 forever.

I didnt actually like the tone at all, it was too stiff and brittle sounding for me. Dont know if that was the tele or the orange. It looked cool though :)

Wasn't the bridge a modern 6-saddle type? IMO they make the tone less tele-like. I still enjoyed what he played, I'm a big Who fan  :)
