Surprised noone's mentioned this yet.
Me and the missus were both online at 10am, ready for the AC/DC ticket sales to open. Ten minutes of web server time outs later they're all gone :(
Tried all three UK venues and Dublin too, but they're all sold out.
Of course, there are the fleecing b*stards on eBay who seem to got their greedy mits on some - but they're charging close to £300 for a pair of tickets.
Anyone have any success?

i've given up on all these concerts. these tickets cost a fortune BEFORE the touts got a hold of them. always amazes me how there's ALWAYS a pre-sale for several days before general release. they always sell out immediately, yet these people ALWAYS get theirs. they're usually up on ebay even before the official on-sale time. i'm sick of it, there's obviously underhand goings on. that's before considering that the tickets are hugely overpriced to start with. the Dublin tickets were €67.70, plus whatever ludicrous fee ticketmaster finds it in it's empty black heart to add.
last time i saw AC/DC the tickets were £15.

I didn't even bother trying to get some. I knew what it would be like, plus I haven't got £100+ at the moment for a pair of tickets with a booking fee, postage, insurance etc.
When they announce another Manchester date I may try and get tickets if I have the cash, but I'm not that bothered about spending a big lump of wedge to see a band way past their prime......
-
I tried with no luck
My mate text me this afternoon out of the blue and said he bought me one.
I'm of to the gig in Manchester with standing (jumping/bounding) tickets.
April seems a long way off though :(

Got my two tickets this morning for the O2; seems like more of lottery i guess. We were online at 10 as well and had the usuall "internet down" issues. Wouldnt usually fork out that much for any band but i havent seem them live before and you just never know if they'll tour again.

I didn't even bother trying.....
my only hope is that either a mate has a spare ticket or that they play Wacken Open Air.
-
I didn't bother either. I would have loved to have seen them again but I'll live. Anyway I have Priest to look forward to in Feb, so...

I'm still in que for tickets here in Holland. After 45 minutes I had 4/5ths of the waiting bar filled and the it kicked me back. Now I'm another 45 minutes further and haven't even reached 1/4 of the time bar.
A mate of mine is trying too. However gets 'em first calls the other. He hasn't called yet.
Ticketmaster is evil and must die!
I hope they do a second show.

Will they announce more UK dates?
-
Haha just went on this ticket site
"Standing (General Admission)
10 Ticket(s) Subtotal: £2,750.00"
-
Geez that's alotta money! I paid 68 Euros per ticket. There was a maximum of two. It's been 2 1/2 hours of computer hell to get them.
Got the CD too today. It's good.
-
I want to see AC/DC
-
I tried to get tickets for the O2, expecting them to be sold out...
...and I was right.
-
there is a two-week gap in their schedule when they hit the UK - word round the campfire is that more UK dates are to be released.
-
Got my copy of Black Ice today, anyway! :D

Yeah, but the Dutch fans are screaming for an extra date too. Things went horribly wrong with the online only ticket selling. Still plenty of tickets wound up on the black market selling for hundreds of Euros, some people couldn't get acces to servers and more misery and rumors.

the thought process behind the 'extra uk dates' is that this is pretty much gonna be their last world tour and it seems odd that they wouldn't play Newcastle (Brian Johnson's home town)

Fair enough, HTH.
But Angus lives in Holland.
Frankly, I don't care for a second show in Holland. I have tickets!
