Are the lead & clean parts the MQ??

If they are its making me start to think whether a MQ would work well with my MM bridge./

Sounds a bit dark?  Or is that just my computer speakers?

I'm guessing that ISN'T the Shiva?   :?

The MQ is at the very beginning of the solo as well in the middle of the clean part, and together with the RR at the end of the clean part. It will be very distinctive with a MM in the bridge, but guess output wise it's a good match.

No not the Shiva, the Axe. Dark? Hmmm, maybe I had the mic a bit further at the edge of the speaker than usual ... mic positions make SUCH a difference man ...

I wouldnt say it sounds dark. It's not a bad tone but it seems to lack a bit of girth somehow. It's definitely got an ACDC kinda vibe tho :) The lead tone sounds like it has a load of clipping going on :(

I wonder if it's how you hear /perceive the M.Q. tone when they are set closer up to the strings. I deliberately use the M.Qs set that way to get a rich, chewy, darker  - and slightly compressed tone . Set further away they breathe more and regain more treble cut.

Nah it just sounds like its too loud to me so theres some digital clipping going on? Maybe its just me?

I think I need to raise my MQ neck a bit, it sounds too weak for rock compared to the Pig 90 bridge at the minute :(
