A mate of mine has a nearly new US-spec Mesa Boogie Triple Rectifier head he wants to sell. He imported it directly from the US and he uses it with a transformer to drop the UK mains voltage down, which he'll sell with the amp. He asked me what I thought a fair price would be and I haven't got a clue! It's not something I know the prices of.
Anyone got any ideas what it's worth?

A new UK spec one is about £1,900. I'd say about £1,750ish would be reasonable for a nearly new one in good nick, even if it does have to have a drop-down transformer.

He'd get anything from £850-£1500 odds on ebay, realistically selling privately I think £1200 is fair.

As much as that? Blows me out of the water for buying it then ;)
I'll let him know.....

Six quid, send him my way.
