colour-coded headstock really works on this guitar.

I must say, I like that very much. Shame it costs a bloody fortune. :(
-
its nice but i dont think the modern bridge suits it at all... imagine it with that swapped out for a vintage repro one like the BKP or callahan... then i would be onboard
-
For some reason I can't see the pics in the actual eBay ad - I'll have to look at it later. But I think I agree about the bridge - wouldn't stop me buying it, though, if it was about half the price.

I love the colour on this one, and I agree with Wez/Philly on the bridge.
I'm personally not sure about the shapes of the "lesser known" Fenders - but this one does look kinda sexy, not enough to get me gassing luckily...
And it's got that matching coloured headstock thing going on that I love so much Philly...
I'm confused on the ad though - everything seems to be pointed at it being Japanese, but it's got USA written on it?

I knew you'd love that! Normally I'd say it would look better in Burgundy Mist, but the blue suits it.

You can get MIM Fender and MII Squier Cyclones relatively easily. They weren't that popular, except in Japan, due to this they released an MIA version there.
Now... I knew this, but I didn't know the rest of the story, which is then explained in the ad.
I have a modded MII Squier Cyclone, and I think its a really cool guitar. An MIA one would be amazing. The MIM version isn't enough to tempt me. However, this is quite expensive and prevents my GAS, which is why I posted it here without buying it :)

Ah, that makes sense to me now - thanks gwem :D

The bridge was also the thing which sticks out to me.
Cool vibe though! needs a go faster stripe ;)
-
Is it just me or is that way overpriced? It only looks like its worth around £300 to me :o

Definatly!
Quite an unusual looking guitar. Loving the colour coded headstock though.

Now I can see all the pics - lovely little guitar! :)

The 'normal' fender mustangs retail for around £500- 600 here, a bit much i think. I love mustangs, my 70s japanese clone is all kinds of amazing. It's mahogany and top quality, not bad for £180 on ebay...
