I think I was vaguely aware that there was such a thing, but never seen one before.

I don't like the strings-through-body plus Wilkinson wraptail arrangement - very clunky looking.  Otherwise it looks cool.

Presumably there's also a green Rossi model with Lace Sensors and a G&L style bridge?

No idea!  That Parfitt's got to be a rare bird though hasn't it?

They had both the Parfitt and Rossi in Soho Soundhouse (Turnkey?) several years ago. I was reading about 'Quo the other day and came across one site that said they were made by the Fender UK custom shop. I has no idea one existed,

Edited for schoolboy English mistake.

That Parfitt one's kinda cute - even with the strange looking bridge arrangement.

And it's Japanese  8) - we like Fender Japan in our house :D

I always wanted a Francis Rossi type tele when I was young - but there's no way I'd want a replica of the current state it's in... I'd want a "mid-70s Francis Rossi Signature" before crazy-sh1t started happening to it

You can get accurate replicas
http://www.replicaguitars.co.uk/ (http://www.replicaguitars.co.uk/) and
http://www.bogusquo.com/replicas.htm#Replicas (http://www.bogusquo.com/replicas.htm#Replicas)

and I found a link about the 'Quo teles including the MIJ models here http://www.tdpri.com/forum/bad-dog-cafe/100155-any-love-status-quo.html (http://www.tdpri.com/forum/bad-dog-cafe/100155-any-love-status-quo.html)

that looks great actually, doesnt look as "clunky" as a standard tele bridge if you know what I mean, but it still looks classic

I wonder how it plays with a set of 14s on it ;)

I remember reading a review of the two of them when they came out. Think it was in Guitarist and around the first half of 2004

Aside from the fact that its a tele, the color is disgusting, it just doesn't work.
