Another beauty off our production line
Features all black Warpigs - sounds great
3 piece mahogany neck, Ebony board with Dunlop 6100 frets
Mahogany body with 5mm maple cap
Original Floyd and Sperzel tuners
Maple turned out way prettier than was expected -Customer decided to change colour scheme from all red with black binding to Vintage burst to show off the grain - good choice
-
Holy shite!
I want that so badly :o
-
WOW! Warpigs + V = oohhhh yes.
-
excellent! :)

i knew (s)he would! how many times did i tell you ;)
nice work on your part of course!
-
 Looks meaner than a hungry shark coming in your way!
-
God damn, that's hot. That's a GAS explosion.
-
Far too pretty for just Brootalz, although I'm sure she does the job very nicely.
-
Very nice! I love V's with block inlays
-
That's the nicest Feline I have seen yet!
-
That's pretty stunning! Beautiful finish, though body-matching veneer on the headstock would have really set it off.

We would have done if the guitar was originally going to be a natural finish, but the guitar was originally going to be solid red. (A bit like the V that Annihilator's Jeff waters plays)
The maple was used for tonal reasons.
We had to buy some that was big enough to get the v out of and it turned out that we ended up using some that had been selected for acoustic guitar backs
Now we would not have chosen such a pretty piece of wood to go under a solid colour for many reasons - a major one being cost of the wood.
But this piece had a mineral stain streak running through it that made it all but unsell-able to acoustic guitar makers who would want an unblemished piece so we got it for the same price as a plain piece (result!)
Once we had cleaned it up and put it on the V there was hardly any mineral stain visible (you can just see a little on the tip of each fin if you look carefully), but the grain in the wood was lovely .
Once the customer we built it for saw the wood, he had a change of heart over the colour and decided to go for a more classic colour scheme - the result of which you see here

That's fair enough, the right call was definitely made on the finish change. The flame looks really 3D in the pic, almost like Koa, is that how it is in real life?

Why it isn't in your website with plent of pics, yet?

Holy $%ing god.
That is an absolutely incredible guitar.
-
...that is badass!!!reminds me of a Gib I once owned...a v90, I believe...basically a 1 humbucking V with 24 frets...but it had the "Custom" block inlays as well...that makes a V really muscular-seen a few V Customs as well....man, maybe you guys could make me a lefty in that flavor...GAS!!!!!
...really like it.. :D

This looks so alike when the sun is rising 8)

That's so pretty!!
I usually despise V's, especially the Gibson one's as their just plain ugly...
But this i like.
The only other one i've liked is the more expensive Ibanez Rocket Roll II, the one that Paul Gilbert has.

Thanks for the compliments
The Rocket Roll RR400 was a cool guitar!
I could happily live with a Rocket Roll, an Iceman and a Destroyer!

Ah, but who'd do the shopping, cooking and cleaning?
-
Ah - good point!
Need to rethink that one..........Hang on I already do all that so nothing need change.
-
Wow. That's an amazing V. Well done!
-
Wow !
Quite the most beautiful guitar I have seen in a long time. :) I manages to be both ' brootal' - and yet very, very tastseful. It's a stroke of serendipity that the customer changed the general coulour scheme to that we now see. The other details, such as the wood finishing, ebony board and those gorgeously big inlays make it compeling viewing.
If I played Metal, I would want one ; hell, I play Blues / Jazz and I still want one !
Another great job done Jonathan ! 8)

Didn't Albert King played Vs?????
-
Vs don't usually grab me - and this one shouldn't either - but there is something about it, isn't there?
Nice one again! :D
-
i like it a lot... but i really like the idea of a red v with black binding and black hardware!! or even a black V with red binding

Good point Fernando ! :)

It looks really nice, but I still love the 50's style V's - with the V tailpiece.

But I agree with what was said above, I don't like Vs, but this one... Phwoar Jonathan, you've really hit the nail on the head.
