I have an HSS (see sig) guitar with a five way wired perfectly normally at the moment.
What I want to do is this:
Position 5: neck
4: Neck and middle
3: Middle
2 Neck and middle in series
1: HB.
Can it be done?
If so, how?
Thanks in advance.
Edit: and yeah the Irish's are RPRW: I could wire it as an HB no problem, I know (and have in another guitar) but I dont want to sacrifice either sc for it. I wouldnt mind losing pos. 4 though.

Yes it can be done. You need the 4-pole 5-way switch from Stewart MacDonald (http://www.stewmac.com/shop/Electronics,_pickups/Components:_Switches_and_knobs/Super_Switch.html I know you can get it from Bare Knuckle too, but I couldn't find it on the web site.
In order for this to work properly, you will need the middle pickup to be RWRP.
Vol goes to Tab 0 pole 1
HB red goes to Tab 5 & 4 pole 1
Neck Single white goes to tab 2 & 1 pole 1
Middle white to tab 0 pole 3
jumper tab 4 pole 3 to tab 4 pole 1
jumper tab 3 pole 3 to tab 3 pole 1
jumper tab 2 pole 3 to tab 2 pole 2
Neck Single black to tab 0 pole 2
ground tab 1 & 3 pole 2
ground HB black and middle black
pole 4 is not used

You, sir, are the man.
Thanks alot!

Sorry, this is HB & middle in parallel in pos 4. To change it take the HB only to tag 5, the neck white adds tag 4 (both pole 1), and also ground tab 4 pole 2. This is neck and middle in parallel in pos 4.

Got it done. Thanks for the help.
This is a great tone. Really suprising: I expected a shred maniac sound, especially with much of it coming from the middle position, I expected the extra highs to cut through.
Instead I've got a really full robust, girthy but totally clear dirty sound and a clean tone with enough space in it for a game of football!!! I love it.
