As my auntie so elequently put it about my birthday card...

....."They're too hard to wipe your arse on, so I don't see the point".  Couldn't agree more, even though I'll be getting the missus one as she'll moan if I don't.

It's best not to get involved mate, she'll only think you're in the way.

Congrates BTW, set a date?

i am learning that quickly, she keeps asking for suggestions and then talking over them... thats been put stop to now though - she has to give me at least 5 seconds to answer before blurting out what will happen anyway ;)

it will be october the 17th next year, our 12 year anniversary of meeting.  Ceremony and restaurant is booked, still need a venue and band for the evening - all suggestions welcome!!!  although she veto'ed the metal band i wanted to ask :)

I'd get a cheesy tribute band, then at least it has some kind of comedy entertainment value even if the music is shite.

My friends had a jazz duo for their wedding, which was extremely dull - the bloke looked like he'd just come from an office job but thought he was Michael Buble.  The girl playing the piano was scarily intense and serious, wore no shoes and looked like she hadn't brushed her hair for a week...... very sexy actually, in an uber-geeky sort of way  .

I shall check my gig diary Wez ( he he) - anyways cards? waste of time-hate em- they clutter the place up and I hate writing the damn things to people that I see regularly anyway and who all know that I hate Christmas.

I had my mates rock and blues band (the reso building dude actually).  Went down real well.

My mate had a band called The Ginger Hitlers, they were real good in a wedding band kind of way.  I had a good night, although the free bar (donation to air ambulance) might have had something to do with that.
