Good in parts I thought. Wish it didn't have sweep picking interludes. I like a bit of shred but not with GNR

Cant stand it :x Axls voice actually sounds ok on the lower bits where he's not trying to be as screechy as possible. But, its missing all the rawness and energy that GnR had, it just sounds like bland, soul-less modern rock :( I'd rather listen to November Rain and thats saying a lot :P

Dont think I'll be buying the album unless I hear something that amazes me.

It doesn't sound like Guns n' Roses. That's because it isn't Guns n' Roses, it's just Axl Rose and some other musicians.

Although Chinese Democracy isn't a half bad song it doesn't sound like anything that took 15 years to make.

Better doesn't float my boat.

Hated the song to be honest. Axl sounded like he was trying a bit too hard in spots, especially in the chorus where it sounded he needed to be screaming but he couldn't bring it. I also found myself begging for someone to turn off the wah in the middle, sounded too cliche rock solo to me. I liked the last solo more, nice tone, but it wasn't nearly enough to turn the song around.

Someone should tell him to change the name of the band for God's sake.

Won't be buying the album.

Don't you all have the album already?
It's a pretty weird sound. A bit jumbled.

The whole album is on their myspace now. $%&#ing cr@p  Too much widdlywee from the lead guitarist and the songs are boring.

the sweep picking, doesn't fit the song at all.  Axl sounds alot like his bro's vocals on the Blind Melon stuff on 'Better'.

listening to Chinese Democracy, some god-awfull lead playing on there.

the guitar tones are nothing to write home about either.

15 years for this? - I'll pass  :(

I read in the news the album sells like hot cakes.

It does sound a bit random. A couple of tracks were ok.
There was a quote in one of the tabloids from a fan who bought it. 'It's going to set the standard for all rock music in the future'

Woah there Leslie!
