I think he calls it the Fireman. I can't see the hose though.

I'm going to be there as well :)
-
Will Bruce be there?
-
He was there last time... i hope he plays the human capo too, last time it was just awesome :D
-
no bruce.. it's the Silence, followed by a deafening roar promo tour.. it's just paul, his wife, basist and drummer

practice practice practice practice... and when you're done practicing, practice some more.
it really isnt that hard.. if i could play technical difficulties @ 120bpm anyone can. the only trouble is his damn pinky finger.. it's 50 miles long
-
It was really great, much more entertaining than the last time i saw him on the last tour.
Didn't play Human Capo but, ya know what? what he did play was real good fun.
And hell for once you could actually hear and feel the bass player! I'd love to know what he was playing through... probably direct to PA.
Gonna go play geetar now :)
-
probably the marshall half stack he played here
-
A bassist playing a marshall half stack...?!

bass head.. jsm800 .. they made them ;)
-
yea i thought the half stack behind the bass player looked like a marshall bass rig.. i thoight the playing was awsome.. but the tone all around was very bad.. good night, all fun :)
-
paul never had a good tone to begin with :P but it amazes me how IDENTICAL his tone is now that he's using a marshall vintage/modern, to when he was using the LC50, or GH laneys
-
I beleive that his tone is either from pedals OR, from what i saw at some live videos a while back, he has a Laney in the background and out of sight...
Last time around his tone was very different, it was definitely the VM last time. This time it's what i was expecting from gilbert, completely different from the last time.
-
the two times i saw him, he definatelly played through the VM.. nothing can be hidden and out of sight on the stage he played this last gig lol

He used a 2266C combo in his studio for that recording, but he may have run it into a Randall Iso cab.
