I'm getting a bit fed up of falling over cables/being restricted in where I can run about without worrying about dragging half my rig with me, but I have not the first clue about what to look for in a wireless thing. So I'd be interested to hear what people make of them and what I should be looking out for.

I had a feeling I knew where I'd seen this before... (http://bareknucklepickups.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=9296.0) Hope this helps.

Aha! Cheers!

Yep, the freeport is good and reasonably priced.
Come on eBay for about £70 to £80

sennheiser - good make... been using their headphones for years

I have been using a Sennheiser G2 system for about 3 years without problem. Infact, in the band we have 4..... 2 guitars, 1 bass and main vocal... all have have worked flawlessly. Not the cheapest, but then not the most expensive and we all agree no real notable diference in sound.

Im quite nterested in the bug style wireless systems that just click in to the jack socket, has anyone had any experience over those ones?
-
I read they weren't so good - you need velco to hold them in place for example
I went with the separate transmitter, and I've been really happy with my Sennheiser Freeport.

Cheers Twinfan, Shame as they look a bit more convinient if you're switching guitars a lot

Yup. I thought it looked good, but they're not that great in use by all accounts :(
