Title: recommend me a booster pedal for tight modern metal

right I'm ordering my blackstar ht5 combo tomorrow, so I'm after a booster to make it tighter, I only know about tube screamers, I heard the maxon ones are good and I've no idea about the sound difference between a ts9 and a ts808

I like my cleans so I'm guessing I want true bypass as well

any recommendations? thanks

i got a maxon od808 which i have been using for 2 years now with great results. i think it will work just fine with the HT-5. I will be using it when I get mine  :D
