No reason whatsoever why you shouldn't use it with a high gain amp.
.......might sound sh1t though.

With high gain you don't need much reverb or it sounds weird

yeah, there's no reason not to try it (that i'm aware of), but, like johnny, i only use reverb on lower gain tones. generally you need all the tightness you can get when playing at high gain, and reverb kind of destroys that.

I wasnt going to use it full on but.....
Thanks guys I didn't think about that.

I use reverb for leads with my high gain RM100 head, but that's mostly with really low output stacked singles driving it for high gain blues-rock lead tones, not for uber-fast widdling. You're not going to want to use reverb if articulation is at a premium or if you have loose pickups or a loose amp, and you generally wont want to use it for rhythm, because it'll sound terrible, imo. Still, it never hurts to try :)

^ I was gonna say just try it for leads, I only use it on 1-2. For rhythm it messes it up, except on cleans!

yeah, if you're only going to have it on 1 or 2 you might get away with it. just use your ears. :)
