yeah ...

so, it's a Jackson DK2M Limited Edition :D Got it with a LOT of help from Jonathan, who also installed the Ceramic Warpig. it sounds absoletelly tremendous! A friend was over and he played some Arch enemy on it and couldnt believe how massive it sounded, even though it's tuned in E standard with 9's on it. yet when you roll the volume off you still get very nice cleans (that's on a 50W tube amp with the gain on 7 and an HBE pedal with the boost engaged on 100%) i was expecting it to distort the clean channel of this amp to be honest, so it was a surprise to both of us.

so, about the gutiar itself. flawless. the neck is perfect, the feel of the whole thing is there and it just sings. the CWP is in true me fashion covered with fake authentic battle damage. no pole pieces. it's an EMG destroyer  8)

the finish is exactly what it says on the tin, Red Ghost Flames. subtle but comes alive under lights, and it's a deep red colour. and to top everything off, reverse matching headstock  :D i love it!

i'll get some pics up tomorrow :)

Serious that the headstock is black???

It's a nice one, but I think the headstock had to be matching the body or maple...

the headstock has ghost flames too.. but like said, HARD to make pictures off, cos at right angles it looks REALLY bright and at odd angles it looks very dark, almost black

Glad it got to you safe and sound.......I am always nervous when shipping guitars , and tend to overpack them with padding

It did sound Freaking awesome - that Ceramic Warpig is wonderful

I can see how that would be hard to get a good picture of. Looks cool though, I do like that ghost flame effect.

+1

Not really a Jackson/superstrat fan, but I'm a sucker for ghost flames.  :)
