Well thanks to a Wezv my bitsa strat is just about there. Wez very kindly wento out of his way to finish my Crimson red nitrocellulose finished strat body with a neck that I've been after for a while & all I can say is...amazing! The spec on the neck is as follows:
right handed strat neck
Classic small headstock (reversed)
Sapelle + Rosewood
21 medium/jumbo frets
7.25" radius
Clay face dots
White side dots
Delrin nut
Tru oil finish
2 way truss rod + dual Cf reinforcement bars
C-shape neck (62 ish specs)
this may even displace my jap strat '62 charlie....we'll have to see if it suits the new band
Wez has done an amzing job & thanks to him my dream neck is now on a cracking guitar

Very nice... how does the wood combo compare to maple/ rosewood?
-
Looking good....when do I get to try her out...ooh that sounded wrong..
-
glad it got there safe and you are happy :)
as for sapelle... its sometimes used as a mahogany substitute, especially on acoustics... i find it a bit stiffer and generally a bit brighter because of that.... so a softer sound than a maple/rosewood neck, but still plenty of bite when it needs it!!

that's usually my job
D the sapelle seems to add a much warmer more rounded sound than the maple with the rosewood (which is warm in itself). The Tru oil makes it lovely underneath your hand.

very nice :)

That looks great- congratulations.

Lookin good, I like the darker colour of the Sapele, goes perfectly with the red and tortie.

phwooar!
It's got bits I'm "not meant to like" (humbucker, reverse headstock)... but that looks very nice indeed.

tbh i havnt done much with a 7 1/4" radius before so that was a nice change for me to try it out properly... i quite liked it!
