Me and my guitarist were jamming using his ux2 earlier and thought wed try recording one of our songs both playing at the same time then double tracking it again
so its as if its us playing live as theres no extramixing on hte guitar parts theyre just as they were recorded.

Newer mix thing it soudns much better
actually now i think the first mix sounds bettr again... i dunno
-
How is it mixed? MM on the right?
Also one has more gain on the amp or is that the eq-ing (or pickup) doing it's work?
Sorry to say the first mix was def. better ;) you kind of eq-ed it to death (I have a knack for doing that every single time though.. )
-
The amp settings are the same.
THe MM is on the left and the emg is on the right.
Im surprised at how much hotter the 85 is than the MM
Yeah i noticed shortly after posting that the first mix was much better.
I was trying to achieve a really raw kinda live jam sound.
Didnt work as i planned though.
Thanks for your feedback

Ah yes I forgot for a minute that my speakers are switched round haha.
Yeah the 85 seems to drive the amp much harder, although a Monster Miracle Man could fix that problem
Strange, because I thought the MM was more powerfull than the 81 and the 85 is about as powerfull as that.. right?

I though this before doing some comparisons i would say that the 81 is about the same as a WP
the MM isnt that hot at all.
It could also be as neddy has his 85 in a charvel which has less wood mass to get through than the les paul that my MM is in.
All should be fine though as hes changing to a nailbomb soon
