Title: New Amp Day
Post by: Ted 'N' Leo on December 29, 2008, 12:16:47 AM
Going into a Guitar shop, on my own. Naturally i walked out with something!

Fender Champion 600 Reissue. So far i've been playing it through the Squier Classic Vibe Tele mostly (doesn't sound as good through my Les Paul) i'm frankly astounded at how good it sounds. Although i think a new speaker and tubes could sort out the fuzzy overdrive when you put it right up.

Also, it goes to 12!!!

Very nice! I like the concept! It's like raw blues and rock write all over! :D

Can anyone recommend any tubes or speakers that would be a good alternative to the stock ones? I know nothing about tubes and as far as i know, the only speaker you can change it with is the Jensen MOD.
