Title: Painkiller: Techy Metal Groovey Riff Clip (Red Seas Fire Idea Clip)
Post by: PeteyG on January 03, 2009, 02:35:41 PM
Here's a little clip I recorded yesterday, first thing I've recorded since getting the Painkillers wired into my Jackson DKMG properly, up until a few weeks ago I'd had them wired up in a weird way that was causing them to act as single coils.

Anyway this is my most recent idea for Red Seas Fire, enjoy, I'm pretty proud of it.

EDIT: I should probably point out it was recorded in Garageband, garageband drum sounds, and garageband sounds (distortion, EQ, Compression, etc, etc), Warwick Streamer Standard used for the bass, and my Jackson DKMG with Painkillers.

Excellent playing and sound. Very precise sound that still retains depth and tone.

I myself prefer Painkillers over Nailbombs for this sort of music. Good choice
