Hey, im thinking of switching pickups myself since leaving it to a tech feels both unnecessary AND takes time (haha, wanna enjoy my pups as soon i get em). So my question is.. I now have splittable humbuckers in my Gibson SG GT (490/498, split them to singles by push/pull pots). I now ordered a pair of Mississippi Queens.. since these are singlecoils, is there any other function i can get from the push/pull pots with these pickups? Some kind of coil-tap? How would i get use from my push-pull pots, or are they best left functionless? Also, how long does it usually take for a pair of bareknuckles to come from the bareknuckle webshop to say Sweden?
And if you know any good guides to switching pickups id appreciate it;)

If you haven't yet ordered your MQs, you can get them with a coil 'tap'.  This will give you the option, via the push-pull pots, to give you a less hot tone.

That's what I'd order....

Hm, i have ordered em from here, but never found that option available. Could only chose color..

You have to specify in the comments section when you're ordering.  If you ordered it a short time ago, try contacting Tim to see if they can still add it.

Well, i ordered it early today, maybe around 11/12.00... but i sent an email to Tim@bareknuckle... etc and to the sales@... so i hope they change it so that i can make use of my pots... i wouldnt feel 100% happy otherwise heh..

You'll be fine.  I'm sure the crew is backlogged with orders right now anyway because of the holiday hiatus.

Yeah, hope so, cos ill be glad to not have pull pots that dont do ****;) I will probably turn them in to a guitar tech anyhow, especially since it got a bit more complicated with the coiltap^^

Well, its fixed, they arent being produced till next week anyhow, but i think i might have annoyed Tim by asking a bit to many questions haha, but atleast ill hopefully still get a pair of great pick-ups :D  :)
Anyone here who has a pair of MQs in an SG? And what are the tonal differences between the bridge and neck?
