Title: Ever heard of the 'funky nut'
Post by: Matt77 on January 06, 2009, 12:50:41 AM
This looks expensive:

Essentially it's a tweaked Earvana made of Delrin

Does anyone have any experience of Phil Hartley's work?

No, but he seamed very serious on them, although I've just talked with him sometimes on a forum...

It's about £100...

Yeah - working on the same lines as an Earvana , but with Phil's own take on the offsets.
Looks like he is making a nice product...and I love the way he is doing it in conjunction with a Floyd Locknut too

I am of course a bit Earvana fan and distribute them in the Uk as well as fit them to many of my own guitars

www.earvana.co.uk (http://www.earvana.co.uk) is my website for the Earvana stuff

Think we are just about to get the shelf nut version for Fenders in a week or two
