Title: what sounds good in Walnut?
Post by: Untermyer on January 12, 2009, 07:41:05 PM
hello,

I'm looking for a pair of humbuckers for a 25.5" scale bolt-on guitar.  it has a maple neck and walnut body, rosewood fingerboard, with a Kahler 2315 tremolo.  I play thrash and death metal, mainly 80s stuff.  I also like electric clean tones.

any suggestions?

thank you

I have holy divers in my Walnut strat.

It'll be a fairly bright guitar, with a maple neck (I assume?), so holy divers would be a good option. Also Nailbomb springs to mind. Have  you contacted Tim yet? He is your best bet!
