She's an Edwards... er... something. Anyway... Had a JB/59 set, I replaced the JB by a Jazz after test riding her. The JB was screechy, yuck. Jazz is much better in the bridge.
Oiled the board, cleaned her up all around.
Strung her up with 11s (were 09s on it before), raised the strings a bit. I need to straighten the neck but I don't know yet the correct truss rod wrench size :(
She also needs new knobs... what would you guys advise and where in the UK?
Thanks for watching this! She loves y'all :D

I like white LP's. That looks like more of a More Paul though ;)

Very nice guitar,Pierre!Congrats 8)!Edwards LP's are very good.I wouldn't change the knobs.I like those ones..I couldn't help you about the trussrod wrench size but if you're looking for a good guitar-tech you'll have to specify your area in GB.
-
Oh I'm a guitar tech myself and I know all of the ones in Edi, no worries. Thanks!
-
My Edwards truss rod is 5/16 inch

edwards are very nice guitars. good value too, till the pound collapsed against the yen, anyway... :)

That Jr looks very nice! Wich pickup model?
-
BKP-91 into a proper 62 gibson (would be the SG shape at that year i think) wiring loom
-
Is that a commission, Wez, or experiment?
-
commission.. really its pretty standard stuff so not experimenting with owt like i usually would, although the new sprayer has gone to great lengths to get the 55 junior finish looking proper - front and back. although i might do some a/bing of all the different wraparounds i have here at the moment if i can be bothered to keep restringing it
sorry, didnt mean to derail the thread.... just got destracted by the title... i will do a proper thread for mine once its finished

DONE! I'll see if I can get pictures that aren't taken with my phone.
Black Gotoh bridge + tailpiece and associated screws/studs
Bareknuckle Riff Raff in the bridge, SD 59n in the neck
Treble bleed caps, new tone caps, and I rewired it to my favorite LP style wiring
Black speed knobs
Nut has been shimmed
Strings (10/52s) are about 4mm from the 12th fret on low E, 3mm on the high E, a tiny bit lower than what I'm used to maybe but it does feel very nice!
Only thing missing: Black switch tip
And MAYBE someday a set of black, modern style tuners, we'll see.
