interesting
Id prefer to use push/pull pots tho.
-
nice idea, might have to try some - might be worth it for testing which options work well on each guitar/pickup combo
-
looks quite usefull.
-
Looks a bit boring though.
-
im assuming you could use it a bit like an EMG quick connect... two wires connecting to the pot and ground... then just attach that to a diff pickup ring etc... just stop having to open up the cavity.
-
It's neat, but no less fiddly than a push-pull or mini-switch.
And there's something of the geek about it.

And there's something of the geek about it.
... which is why we're all secretly quite interested in it ;)

well it's got me interested! it's a clever solution, and ergonomically probably as good as could be expected. i suspect i shall be trying a set.

I wonder if the circuit board sits in the control cavity, or the pickup cavity? If it's the latter you'd basically have to cut off 90% of the pickup cable, so you couldn't use it in another guitar without dismantling the pickup and replacing the cable. :?

Hmmm, interesting, not for me though - I don't really go for coil-tapping that much, and I don't like the "parallel sound"
One thing though - one assumes that the circuitry inside their unit is fixed? Where's (what I would have thought of as) the most popular option? Switching the phase of the pickup, so that you can get yer Peter Green fix on a two-humbucker selection? I've read it all, and I can't see how this option would be available to you using their product alone... or maybe it's cleverer than it sounds so far...
