Title: Crawler Demo Request
Post by: mikey5 on January 17, 2009, 03:16:33 PM
I Have seen the ones posted and they are good I just wondered if one of you brilliant people with a set of Crawlers in a Les Paul could do some high gain stuff. Not like Nu Metal or anything but some Stuff Like Crazy Train or Suicide Solution or Mr Crowley, Burn, Highway Star, Train Kept a Rollin, Walk this way. Cold Sweat even Sacrilegious I know

Mike

I'm too slack to play well-known songs  but whilst looking for an old clip in another thread the other day, I found this -- http://bareknucklepickups.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=2988.0 (http://bareknucklepickups.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=2988.0) -- which contains a clip of what is probably one of the higher gain things I've done with my Crawlers (if, erm, slightly out o' tune ... but what the heck! ;)).

Time to order Mikey ;-)

One of the best things with my Crawlers (in MY guitar) is that they sounds good with every setup I play them thrugh. I don´t need to tweek around the settings like I had to do with some of the others pickups I´ve had. They are not extreme in any way (well extreme good sounding!). So Its just to plug and play!

One other important thing is you CAN change them for other BKP´s if you´re not satisfied within 14 days. Great support from BKP. (I think you can even get your money back.)

Hope you like them as much as I still do.
I got Nailbombs aswell in a Ibanez JEM and they are great but in the end if I had to choose I prefer the Crawlers in my LesPaul = more versatile.

It´s a matter of taste but thats my opinion.

Cheers
/ Daniel

Yeah, that's very true, every rigs I played my Crawlers through,
and I played true a wide variety of amps from a rather shitety SS laney head,
to an amazing vintage Marshall Plexi, Tube fenders, orange or Mesas,
even little practice amps, mostly from rehearsal studios, friends, or venues i played in..... Every time you Easily find a useable sound with them, plus they always cleaned up really nicely...

Awesome beasts, they can so easily change register,
from old skool overdrive to high gain modern tones to cleans,
and still be at ease and awesome... but still with its own vibe.... its amazing...
Man with a split I play funk with my les Paul.... !!!

Do you think a set of Crawlers will drive my Marshall JVM with my LP Custom. Can't decide on them or HD set.
