Some Badlands at 1:08 seems a bit far out from the Marshall sound though

keep in mind the mk v you are listening 2 is loaded with 6l6's,BUT  it can also run 2 or 4 el-34's-more Marshally, if thats your thing...VERY  versatile, indeed :i love simulclass...best of both worlds!

Yes,but you must choose between the 6L6's or the EL34's (2 or 4),i think? It's not like the RoadKing, for ex. I would love to try simulclass...and the MarkV,of course!

I'm pretty sure you can put 2 6L6's in the centre and 2 EL34's on the outside?

It does sound nice but I'm not really going to give up the simplicity afforded by my current set up for it; far too many buttons.

yes, you can run 2 el34's in outer positions for the "mix" of class A and A/B-

Blimey, where are the other 57 knobs, buttons and switches?  They must have hidden them round the back.

haa...this has the boutique thing going....6 knobs..simulclass power as well..very little on back of this one-I am betting this voice is present in the MK V channel two("Stiletto" like, if you are familiar with that amp)

Am I the only one who thinks the Mark V sound clinical?

Could it be it's a Jack of all trades but a master of none?

through a little camcorder, it def. makes it hard to tell...I own a few MArk amps, and I guarantee you in person they sound warm and cuddly...of course, they are versatile..and if you want clinical/cold, drop those mids and pair with emg's..!if the cleans are Lonestar-ish andMk IIC+-ish,look out!!check out Andy Timmons lately-bottom line, I will know soon :)

I'd be forever knocking the buttons when loading/unloading it in the car, then it'd take half an hour to find the setting you wanted again! I think I'm quite happy with my 5150-II for now :) Maybe in a few years if I have any spare cash, I might look towards one of these, or a Diezel, possibly, but that's way off for now :)

Does sound pretty nice though!

Based on that YouTube clip, all I'd be prepared to say is that it sounds like An Amp.   Same goes for all YouTube clips.
