Title: Another bridge Mule clip, some Thin Lizzy!
Post by: _tom_ on January 18, 2009, 04:27:01 PM
Has been a productive weekend for guitar/recording! Boredom once again led to me learning a new song and recording it. I think the bends are a little off. I tried using autotune to correct them but that made it even worse so I left it untouched

This one I feel something missing, don't know what, though...
But the Welcome to the Jungle is awesome!

Sounds great to me Tom!  Could have used more gain on the rhythm parts maybe?

Yeah I nkow what you mean Fernando, I think its the drums, they sound a bit stiff and sterile..

Have updated the drums so they flow a bit better, the whole thing seems better now :)

Twinfan, adding more gain just adds fizz and muddiness to this model on amplitube :\

Gotcha!  I like the tone personally, as it's quite 'dark' it was just an observation really!  :D

Sounds better with the new drums too  :)

Brilliant Tom ! - I really enjoyed that.  :)

It genuinely sounded authentic enough to remind me of hearing the 'Jailbreak' album ( repeatedly ) when it first came out.  8)

Now that's what the bridge Mule is all about :D

Same here (as Fourth Feline) - reminded me of the Jailbreak album, enough to get me to dig it out and put it on the old mp3 player.

Didn't get a chance to hear it with the old drums, but works well with the new ones.

Very nice. You need a CS. That would have sounded really awesome with a CS.
