Title: eBay Invoice?
Post by: Jonny on January 20, 2009, 01:31:38 AM
I got this message from eBay about an invoice or something and I'm not sure if they're taking money off me cause I'm a seller or something, anyone know?

Usually they charge a commision for selling your goods on line...seems a lot though. log direct into your ebay account & check that it's legit. If it is, it's because you've sold something

Yeah, I get those pretty much every month, as I'm always selling stuff on the 'bay.

As the message says, they'll be taking the money off you (via Paypal) within 10 days of the message. You must have agreed to it in the past, or they couldn't do it.

Ebay selling fees are approaching 10% for some items these days, so that seems like a pretty minimal bill to me.  What value of stuff have you sold on ebay within that time period ?

I think it's just a cycle. If you haven't sold anything it just calculates as nothing. Would be screwed if it came up as £500 or something and you didn't sell anything, lol
