I've played a gig where one of these was installed and a snare drum was enough to kill the power. Suffice to say an application of the wire cutters sorted this out.......

Thats really, really cool!

Anyway, isnt the enforced implementation of it a hoax or something?

One may be able to make a few quid going round putting bypass switches in these things if it is real. No ones gonna use them. I hope.
