I am weak and I have buckled in a major way! Very new cherry red 335 delivered yesterday. Took a big gamble on buying unseen but the price was too good to turn down. Needs a set up but its not terrible.
There have been many gibson quality control horror stories over the last few years but it seems a great guitar (as it should be).
Pic is from the website - it is the actual guitar. I will get some better pics up at the weekend

Nice. Is it just me, or has it got a bit of a fade toward that lovely "Watermelon" type shade going on there? Always thought that was damnably handsome in a cherry 335 (and, correspondingly awful in an SG).

Nice ..... great colour for a 335. Congrats.

Unusual white scratchplate, I'm not the biggest fan of cherry 335's but that doesn't look as garish as some I've seen. I'm sure you'll like it, however if you change the pickups have patience, they are the hardest guitars to do (along with all others where the only access is through the F-holes and pickup routes.

nice! Like the white pickguard! :D

Thanks guys - the pickguard is black - its just the protective covering thats on the top thats white.

Good stuff - what bargain price did you get it for? I should never have let my 335 go!
-
£1695 - for a figured top/back and sides one - thats £300 ish cheaper than anyone else. Also with the 10% imminent price rise I thought I might aswell go for it

That's good - I was thinking the white scratchplate looked very weird. Nice guitar! :)
