I was a bit bored today so I thought I'd learn a bit of Summer Song by the bald guy who plays well. I used my Carvin into the XT Live with my own patch direct into the computer. Just to show how articulate you can get the XT Live to sound.
Let me know what you think

i think you should move it to the players section, to have a bit more feedback...
anyway i have 2 things to say. one good and one... well, less good.
the good is that i love the thing you do with the tremolo bar and of course that the overall playing is very nice, the bad is that you should have used a less dry and in-your-face sound...
try a bit more delay and reverb (of course it's a matter of personal taste, but satch himself wets much more his tone...)

Don't think he has BKPs in it, so I think that's why it's here.

Yep, It has a Seymour Duncan JB at the moment.
As for the tone, I'd agree. There is delay in there, just not alot. I thought the amount I had in there was enough. I'll redo it soon and see how that sounds.
But thanks for the good though.

Yeah definitely needs wetting-up, but spot on playing! just put some delay on the guitar track and you're sorted i'd say, maybe EQ in some high-mid/highs too?
-
Here you go, added more delay, a bit of reverb and a bit of chorus too. Sounds a little fatter and a touch more sustain due to the bigger strings I put on (10 - 52's)

Can you play Always With Me, Always With You?
I'm trying to learn that song :D
If you can play Summer Song then you are in my Awesome book :P

some very nice playing there :)

second clip sounds miles better to me. Really nice playing, too.
