I just got back from my local guitar emporium, i've completely fallen for something i'd never have expected to...
It's a hollybody, prs-ish-shaped Indie guitar... absolutely the nicest neck i've ever ever played, no resistance what so ever and i actually landed those funny jazz chord shapes with ease AND played lead lines with ease too... normally i'm fighting with one or the other...
First time i've played an ebony fretboard too, well, now im sold on ebony that's for sure...
My ears when playing it instantly went 'oh, this is what guitars MEANT to sound like!'
Has anyone else had any good experiences with the 400quid and upwards range of indie guitars? i've not liked the cheap ones much but this, at just 520... amazing.
Haha, i love it when a guitar gets you all excited!

I feel a NGD coming on...

I've always fancied an Indie guitar, because they seem to represent really good value for money - but I'm put off by some of the styling, like the 12th fret marker. I've only ever heard good things about them though.
Mark.

i think i've only tried the cheaper ones... were alright.

The cheap ones i've hated completely, when i picked this thing up i expected more of the same... i expected it to be dry and a bit naff, thankfully it wasn't the case!
