I've got a guitar on ebay at the moment which has amassed 42 watchers so far !! That's a bit of a record for me (never even got into the 30's before).
What's the greatest number of watchers you've ever had on an item ?
-
I think mine was about 50 when I sold a Cornford Harlequin.

Impressive ! Was there a huge bidding frenzy in the dying minutes/seconds ?
-
Would that be that nice Tokai LP?
I am one of the watchers!

Surprisingly no,lol. I have no idea why, but there was only 7 bidders with a total of like 10 bids.

I don't remember the one for my Trilogy, there where like over a dozen of them. Yet no one bid/bought it.
-
my SD set last week had over 30 watchers... i had the price starting at £70 and i was hoping for that... in the end it shot up to £110 :)

Hamfist - I reckon that you might beat the £435 that you were looking for on this forum - mind you with the Evil Bay charges etc you will need to get to around the £470-475 mark. Lovely guitar - hope that you get a good price!!
-
Well I did give it a nudge to get it going but I thought that it might go a bit higher than it did.
-
There certainly wasn't a bidding frenzy at the end, although I had already set a pretty high starting bid, so I suppose it's not too surprising.
I think £463 was a pretty fair price for both parties to be honest. After all the fees, I'll still be walking away with about £425.
I'll be sad to see it go, but the new tele I bought with the money arrived today, so that eased the pain somewhat !

This is a pretty good site. It lists the most watched guitars/amps/pedals on ebay:

I sold a pile of boss pedals a year or so ago, most of them had LOADS of watchers.
Like, 50 odd on a Metalzone
-
Had to post - made the magic 50 watchers on the tele I'm selling at the mo. So, unlike for some on this board, teles are still REALLy popular !!
-
Thought that I would nudge this one...
I have 77 watching my ObG Les Paul Custom - record for me
-
Just had my record actually selling my Gordon Smith that was in the seconds out. I gave up here and put it on ebay and there were 116 watchers I think, by far the most I've had.
The guitar was for sale for £400 here but I got £460 on ebay!
I always pay a little extra for 2 catagories and put 5 or 6 photos on, that usually helps. And usually time it to end on a Friday or Saturday night around 9pm, bidders are usually a few beers to the good by then :D

Very impressive !! And good news for me, as I have a nice Gordon Smith I might well be looking to sell in a couple of months !

Currently got 23 watching my Tascam US122! That's a high for me...
-
I've had some good results with e-bay recently.
My Xotic AC plus sold for about £155 and my Digitech Brian May Red Special for £165. That's nearly what I paid for them
The most watchers I had was when I sold a friend's spare Take That Ticket. There was about 90 at one point.
I'm finding that now is the time to get rid of any imported goods you don't use
-
The LPC is up to 90 now... just hope that some of them actually BID on it!
