Today, i finally received my VH100R from CrazyJoe, and i have to say, this beast has really blown me away...
I was originally after this amp but over the years has just been short of my budget and i've tried out other amps, Engl Screamer, Marshall JTM 60, Epiphone Valve Junior, Laney Lionheart and maybe some more... not one of those were right for me, not even nearly.
This responds so well to everything i do, it sounds excited, it's percussive, and has the nicest clean tone i've heard from el34's so far! im so completely happy! how long it will last i don't know, but usually i feel let down when i get an amp... here i definitely do not.
The layout of this thing is quite like the Screamer actually, two channels both with boosts... but with seperate EQ's, and many more knobs!
I thought i'd just come up with something that i was gonna make my 'New Laney' song, but no, it's all too similar to Mr Big - Green Tainted Sixties Mind... typical... ! i've never even learn that song...
Ah, Laney really do rock! And i finally have one, awesome :)
I'd take pictures but im having too much fun...

Mean, never tried the VH but really like the GL and the older models.
Great amps for not much cash generally.
Over here it seems if it has a marshall badge you add a few hundred bucks to the price
I picked up a laney AOR100 for what would work out as about 150quid, while JCM800s sell for about 3-4 times that generally.

Nice one! The last VH I tried had 6L6's which I really don't get on with, painfully trebly. Thought they'd be a lot nicer with EL34's. I have 2 Laney's, my old beasty AOR100 and my TT50. Love em both, but mainly use TT nowadays cos I actually use a clean sound more than once a month now. (must be getting old... :o) Only amp for me that does what they both do well, in one amp is a Diezel Herbert. Just need to win lottery tho... :(

Gotta love Laneys, got a TT50 combo and a TT100 head, couldn't be happier with them
