Title: The Free Rotosound Strings you get 10-46
Post by: progrockjoe on January 31, 2009, 01:34:57 PM
Just put them on my guitar.

Was using Fenders, then D'Addario's, Elixirs then went to DR pure blues, now these

They seem to be tighter, I had to loosen the springs a bit. They seem to be the best i've tried yet.

I've got some SOB strings coming in the post so i'll compare these with those and settle on getting several packs..

but i'm unsure exactly which these ones are, are they Rotosound Pure nickel or Rotosound Nicke Plated?

It's a shame they don't do a fatter gauge pure nickel set

Thanks

No info about these strings like comments etc on the net, probably because they're british.

But, is it just me of are these strings alot tighter?

i have them on my esp eclipse now, before i had the ernie ball power slinky,  on it, so i had to adjust the neck and setup a bit, but i quite like em.
i think i will stick with them on this guitar, i still have a 2nd pack from my 2nd order, after that, i think i will swap to ernie ball again..

The Rotosound nickel strings are very nice, but I still prefer Pure Blues.

I really like DR tite fit (round core)

They have a nice elasticity to them.

But you gotta be careful not to overstretch them, as it makes them dead and dull. Normal playing with bends up to 4 steps is fine though :)
