Title: DIY Pedal builders, ever tried Musikding kits? cheap!
Post by: Adam.M on February 05, 2009, 10:38:15 PM
Title says it all, you guys who build BYOC's and the like, have you tried these Musikding kits?

They look really, really cheap compared to BYOC, i did always feel BYOC could be a little expensive though...

Tempted to try some, as I'm a cheap-skate at the moment.

Yeah, interesting.

My experience so far:

BYOC 250 Overdrive - easy to build, great pedal, no problems.
OLC Orange Peel - Bugger to build, still sitting upstairs non-functional...

There's a lot to be said for the ease of build of the BYOC products.  Having said that, the ones above are so cheap they might be worth getting just for a test...

Mark.

I've done a couple of the Musikding kits. They're great, no problems.  :)

Thanks for this - I've done a few BYOC kits which are exceptional but these look cheap - maybe good to mod.
