OK, this tone has too much treble. But I like it anyways, it's so FIERCE :O)

Sounds good!

That's very kind Fernando. I was almost gonna think noone wants to comment on it.
Maybe I should try some new songs from time to time ... 8)

Think would happens...
About people not commenting, well has been a while that I think people avoid commenting clips posted, beside everybody ask them... here and on Warmoth forum (the 2 that I'm daily)...
I try to comment them all, beside the ones that I think sounds cr@ppy... But I'm a little away now because am listening them on notebook's speakers, who are really really lame

I didn't find that too much treble. Loved it, though it would be a classic song

Thanks. I think if you talk about common standards, people tend to like smoother lead sounds with more warmth, and when playing, a tone like this kinda is more fight. But I like it a bit nasty, being a kid that grew up in the 80s and looking up to the guys shredding in those days. That's why I meant "too much". Could've tamed it a bit and would've had a thicker tone, but I was aiming for that Marshall Vintage Modern vibe.

I liked that a lot Hunter. A lot.

Great clip! :D
I don't think a trebly tone is necessarily an "everyday" sound, but it's fun sometimes. It makes you want to really dig in hard and play with pick dynamics. String-breakin' time!
I don't suppose my VHII will sound anything like that in a Strat, but I'm looking forward to finding out.

Great playing as usual and most definitely not too much treble. Jimmy's sound, to my ears anyway, was always on the brighter, clearer and dynamic side, witness re-mastered Song Remains the Same. I much prefer the brighter sound, especially for Zep solos. I'd even go as far to say that what's the point in having or using a bridge pick up if the treble control is turned down.....use the neck pick up. The bridge pick up, in my opinion, is meant to be a step up in drama.
Keep the great demos coming.

this tone is definitely great, actually the best i heard in your clips!

I have the treble way up there and presence on full on my amp, hail treble, we are guitarists afterall/the high frequency 'in the mix'.
The treble didn't really stand out to me there, it's only because you said about it. I have more of a metal sound but this works wonderfully for you're Mashall style tone :)

that tone is stunning, i do like quite a bright tone though.
but yea man that bites! stunning.

That would definitely be my idea of the right amount of treble, great classic tone.

Well, we're upper midrange really chap, good luck fighting the cymbals for the high frequencies ;)
-
Yeah, thing is with these bright tones, indeed they can get lost in the mix if they don't have those important upper mids.
That's probably why people like STeve Morse add low and hi mid pots to their signature amps.

Amazing stuff Hunter!
Superb classic 60's rock sound, kind of confinced me to try the VHII myself.
I always boost high mids on my JCM800 by opening up the highs on a mild mid boost(Bnoon, M2, T3). Some older amps have a great 'serial working' eq (sorry if my dutch to english translation sounds weird).
Allthough my response is late, i was wondering if you really had to dig into the strings that much to get the overtones, it sounds like it comes quite natural with the VHII's.
Also how does your edwards sound acoustically? I was wondering how the VHII would hold their mids in my old and quite dark (but with amazing sustain) custom LP.
