So you like Cornfords then? ;)
-
Yeah, they work for me. Nothing fancy in the way of mega multi channels so easy to use for my thick head! I only changed the head box for a different look.... still got the Oxblood box as well. Had a MK, Hellcat and now MKII and wanted a different colour... dug the old Orange cab out the garage and well... there you go. :D

i think i saw that over at the cornford forum (but it's banjaxed most of the time and i can never reply  ). very nice- the white is really cool (as it is on most amps), but the oxblood is kind of the traditional cornford colour... now if they did some kind of combo of the white and oxblood, that'd be awesome :D

Does this count?

I had a Hellcat and an MK50H before this one and when I first had them I used a Mesa Tall 4 x 12 and yeah they sounded dark... it was when I got a Mongotone and the Cornford cabs I really found out how they should sound, but they were far from dark!

I would say they're smooth, not dark. Certainly there's a slight percieved lack of twang in the high end but that's really a lot of the appeal IMO.
Cornfords are amazing man. I envy you so D:
