Looks like they are breaking guitars down into parts and selling them at prices that end up making more money than selling a guitar - cunning lot!
-
And if it doesn't work, stick 'em back together and sell as a complete guitar.
Works!
-
They make a mint doing it too....
-
I've bought loads of stuff from that seller!
-
I got a hot rod strat body with a nitrocellulose finish off them for £99, so they have bargins from time to time
-
There's a "store" here in the US that does the same thing. I think it's a great idea.
-
So what do they do, buy guitars second hand and sell the bits on... ?
I wonder if this is something i could do in my spare time...
I once saw a PRS CE body and neck and bits on ebay, i thought that was blashpemy! but strats and teles, i aint so fussed.

Some second-hand, but mostly absolutely brand new - I've got a Tele neck where the frets haven't been dressed yet, and a maple Strat neck which still has lacquer completely covering the frets!
They make loads more money from selling separate bits than they would from selling a whole guitar.

Interesting... i'm about to loose my job, so this could be something i could start doing to get some cash coming in.
I already have a fender bass neck to sell... hahaha!
-
Is it me or is the postage on these items a bit steep?

Yeah, i'd be interested in the PRS Case for my PRS if it were cheaper on the shipping. over a hundred quid aint cool for a case.
