I am only going to be using it for delay chorus and reverb
My main selling points are transparency ,sound quality and reliability
G major + midi controller and rack = 700-800$
Eventide with expression pedal and a controller to switch presets - 500-600$
hmm...Would love some hear some opinions

I haven't had extensive experience with the G major, but I had a Timefactor for ages (and I still would have it if I hadn't sold all my amps). The sound quality of its delay and reverb are peerless, imo, and iirc, it does have a very nice chorus in certain modes, although not as a full fledged independent feature, unless i'm mistaken. I'd strongly recommend the Eventide, though I wouldn't bother with an expression pedal again - I had one, but never really ended up using it.

There is only one Eventide.

Yea from what ive heard for cleans the eventide takes the cake but i havent heard the eventide do a good lead ducked delay but im just going off of what i can find on the tube. Im pretty sure it sounds amazing as a lead delay but i havent found any clips of someone using it in that way.

I've owned both. The G-major is high quality and more programmable then the Eventide. If you want to tailor each different sound in great detail then the G-major is very good. The Timefactor is more user friendly and as good if not better quality. I use mine mainly for delay and it is very intuitive to edit on the fly. I got tired of the steep learning curve with the g-major and the need for a separate midi pedal to control it. I would always chose the Timefactor due to sound quality, ease of use and compact design.

All i needed to hear :) thank you,

BUT
If you're only using it for delay, reverb and chorus... G-sharp is a LOT cheaper...

Im willing to spend money for the timefactor sound quality wise its worth it

You will not regret the money spent on the Timefactor.
Life is too short for bad tone.

if you are having it in an fx loop, their is the annoyance of having to have long cables down to the unit for things like the eventide.. whereas the g-maor goes straight in and gets controlled remotely.

That was something ive been thinking to but i could leave it on top of my amp and get a controller for it, its midi contrallbe as well :)
