Post by: ChrisB619 on October 10, 2005, 09:07:13 PM
Hey there!

Does anybody know how much a Washburn chicago series KC-70V from 1985 (ish) would be??

And if i were to put bare knuckles in it, would it be more??

Cheers!

Welcome to the forum. Obvious question, have you cchecked ebay/ I'd say get the guitar first and then the pups- plenty here will advise you of models depending on your choice of music/guitar construction.

Nailbomb & 2 Trilogies.  I have this in a H/S/S and it is a great combination.

Miracle man and 2 trilogy suites. I have them in a Charvel Model 6 similar to your guitar and it will melt your face off!

Just out of interest, how much would people pay for this guitar. with a bare knuckle miracle man and 2 trilogy suites in???

I've had loads of offers recently, and as it only cost me a total of 290, im thinking about letting it go to get an epiphone les paul custom!!!

Cheers.

I would not go to the expense of putting the BKPs in to try to realise more cash from a sale
You will not get the full extra amount back
So if you would get £290 for it as it is and spent £200 on newpickups you would not expect to get £490+ (unless you were really lucky)

But if you were keeping it and wanted it to sound fantastic then it's a great idea

Or sell it for £290 - tell the buyer to put BKps in it to get the most from ity and put BKPs in your Epi Les Paul when you can afford to - well worth it!!
