Cheers Lew. Theres some realy nice gear there. Gas again. I'd like a Marshall and an Iceman.
-
and I'd like your DR103, give it up man!!! 8)

Well my rig... ain't worth mentioning, you have my missing part, a Mesa Boogie Studio Preamp... i'm desperately after one for a good price! :(
I do have a PRS CE Maple Top 24 though, which is rather nice, and a Marshall 9200 power amp... 100 watts per side, eight 6L6's, a beast! a bargain too...
Sell me your Studio Pre :)
-
swap ya..............for that old PRS you dont want.
-
You don't want an overpriced furniture guitar man
Edit: oops if you were replying to Adam 8)
-
I was just puling his leg, Cant let the Hiwatt go,I use it every day.I tried to swap it for a Lester once, but got no interest. It is superb. I didn't use it alot at first, but it sucked me in.You've seen the pics.
-
Hahahaha :)
How much are they normally on ebay? i'm gonna keep an eye out
How is it by the way? i've heard a few absolutely amazing clips... but some shitee too, though i guess the shitee was direct to DAW stuff that wasnt even Impulsed
-
There's one for sale haunting me just down the road but I think they are out of there minds on the price, they want £1200 for the head, bearing in mind its beat to hell and has rust
-
Are you'se talking about the Boogie or the Hiwatt?
-
The Studio is excellent. Bear in mind I'm using it with a 50/50. Very versatile,Lots of different tones from Fendery cleans to crazy drive. But it is fiddely to get right.Just a little touch on the controls makes a lot of differance. When right it has great tone. I swaped them once and missed them so much,I bought them back . The Hiwatt is the opposite. I cant seem to get a bad tone out of it ,what ever I do with the controls. It's subtle. Its loud and clean, but you dont notice because of the headroom. Better made then the Boogies, ouzeing quality. Add pedals and its superb. You get the full flavor of your guitar and pedals. It feels like your playing the amp as well as the guitar. Dynamics? I thought it was a bit boaring at first ,because it dos'nt colour your tone like some amps. It just lets your guitar tone flow through it. I love it now and use it nearly allthe time. I still like my Boogies though and I have a 70's Scala 6 watt valve ampalso. Oh yea the cabs are a 1x12 Black Shadow and a 1x15 Fane.

This is just begging to be misconstrued!

Those mongotone cabs always look sweet shame about the name
-
Some lovely gear there D1dsj, especially eye catching is the purple Yamaha S.G. gorgeous inlays and binding e.t.c.
By the way, what is that little amp ( with the e.q. sliders ) on the floor to the left of your Cornford stack ? - It looks very similar to my AAD Cub Jazz amp. :)
-
Bass amp..forgotten name..Phill Jones briefcase?

What's the doublecut with P-90s? :o

Bass amp..forgotten name..Phill Jones briefcase?
Well spotted ! - It does look very much like one of the Phil Jones creations - but the logo has me puzzled.
-
Phill Jones Bass..J and B in one

Phill Jones Bass..J and B in one
Oh yes ! Thanks for the clarification - I can see what you mean now . :)
I am a very new convert to Phil's stuff - and so as a six string player - had not checked out his Bass 'back catalogue' .
-
Havn't tried them but looked them up before...logo was throwing me of as well thought was PB
-
Hey guys, didn't mean to hijack O.P! :o
Yes the Phil Jones briefcase... awesome little amp, very powerful for it's size...maybe capable of a small venue gig. The real beauty of it is the quality of sound, stunning sums it up nicely, and it's very nice with an electro acoustic too.
The SG3000 is a great guitar... my son has one too, I got it for him 16.5 years ago ... he's 17now. It was his 16th birthday present. Yes they are neavy, but I compared them to my mates L.P custom last weekend and the SG's are a little lighter!! :o
The double cut with P90's is a custom shop Gibson. Only ever seen 1 on ebay and that was ages ago, not the same as the newer ones.. it has a different body shape more like a Hamer, and the headstock is not typical Gibbo LP.

Ah, now that you've posted the pic I think that Gibson headstock does look familiar. I've never actually seen a "real" one before though. Very nice! :)
