The 1960 can be pre-heard here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qiKuOjpmDSM

Didn't sound that great in the clip to me?
They're gonna be a cheap option I guess, like their pedals?
I wonder who's building them....
-
Soul of Valves?
Could possibly mean the soul of dead blown valves.
-
I will hear a Bugera (the 333) tomorrow night at a gig, I've heard from the other guitarist in the band that its $%&#ing awful so I wouldnt hold much hope for these either :P
-
Saw that youtube a few weeks ago. Didn't think too much of the Bugera in it then either.
Although I felt that the demonstrator was trying to play bits of "humbucker-orientated" stuff on his single coil strat, which is never going to sound good to my ears.
Not heard any Bugera in the flesh but have heard quite a few good comments about their tone, if not their reliability.
-
Well, according to my standards that sounded pretty cool.
A plexi style amp for 400 EUR ... well ...
-
The bass amps might be alright, you can't mess a valve bass amp up too much... right, guys?
-
Second hand information, but i was told on another forum that Bugera is infact AXL, AXL is a sweat shop in china.
With that information in mind, i don't like the idea of buying one. Though i know a lot of the stuff we buy is made in a sweat shop and we just don't know it, knowing that it is makes me feel bad about even contemplating one.
I want one of the rack bass amps :( though if i had money i'd go for a KUSTOM KBG600 instead, or a Hartke, or GK...
-
The Bugera sounded nice too me, you gotta allow for the camera mic but you can hear the plexi 'bark' is there.
For under £400 you can't go far wrong if that's the tone you're after.

Is the 1990 meant to be a JCM800 or 900 knock-off?
And why don't they knock off a bassman, twin, AC-30 or something a bit less "typical"?

'cause the kids wont buy it.
-
And that shows, rather precisely, what the kids know.

Yeah, for the most part, not all though I dare say.
-
Ignore me. I'm an ould fart.
I'd just like to see some imagination going on, even if it is imagination in what they're copying shamelessly. This is kinda my problem with modeling amps, too.
-
I was under the impression 'Buggerer' were a cheap amp and didn't sound too great.

probably 900.
800's are based off of superleads, so theyd basically be making 2 of the same amp if it was an 800.
-
1990 could be anything. Might be they go for sth else than Marshall.
Fact is that 1960 is very tempting, gotta try one in Frankfurt (Musikmesse) next Month.
Wondering if they'd come up with a 1970 and 1980 too ...
