Title: im in work
Post by: Dmoney on March 02, 2009, 01:59:04 PM
at the BBC keeping TV on air.
im bored. looking at more BKP's for my guitars.
stressing about gary and sounds great.

someone recommend me some tunes.
im writing an LP and ive been trying to get some non-hardcore influences in. like Velvet Revolver, Melvins, Sleep.
what do you think would work? think black album intro's with something else thrown in, dragged out into songs.

Working at the BBC eh? I'm looking for summer work experience this year, I dont suppose you know of any way I can get in? I'd rather do something related to my course (Media Production BSc) than working at tescos again

Nope its BSc because we do sciencey bits which are related to the the production side of things.

To be honest I just want to do whatever is available, preferably working in a studio or something but any experience would be good I suppose.

to be honest i dunno how you'd go about getting it. its super hard and everyone obviously wants to do work experience there. i met a guy doing work experience with the project team designing and building stuff. buts thats all. Also, the technical areas of the BBC are not always BBC owned. for example its siemens that pay my wage. in another building, that used to be bbc technology, its now Red Bee Media.
i can ask my manager. but its not very exciting.

I've got some gardening needs doing  :P

Been there mate, I ended up designing sewage works for a year while I was at uni  :?  Still next time you're near the River Dee, you can thank me for not having to swim with the Mersey Trouts.
