Hello everyone, this is my first post. :D
Anyway, just wanted to share something I recorded the other day with my Miracle Man equiped Les Paul. It's vaguely inspired by Lamb of God.
The amp I'm using is a VHT Pitbull 50 CL w/ graphic EQ. Cab is a Port City 2x12 loaded with V30s.

Very nice, great crunch and big tones there as well as super tight playing. Also those PortCity cabs must be pretty good I'm told.
What was your recording setup (mic/preamp/...)?
-
Just using a SM57 running straight into my line 6 toneport, but bypassing any of the the toneport processing. Recording with cakewalk 9
-
What else have you played with this amp, as in artist styled music, i.e. Lamb of God as you said.
I quite like the tone in this.
Good stuff.

I currently play in a Progessive Death Metal (Opeth meets BTBAM) band and in a black metal band, both of which the VHT suits well. I actually haven't found any one style that I couldn't get the VHT to do.
Attached is another clip with my MM equiped les paul, more in the vein of Symphony X.
This clip is not quite as good sounding as the last, as it was harder to mix, and I couldn't quad track the guitars.

That tone is really good. What program do you use for the drums?

*shame*
I use Acoustica Beatcraft for the drums. It's genuinely aweful. But until I update my entire recording rig, I can't use any thing like Superior 2.0 or Drums from Hell.
