Had a quiet day today, so had a chance to get some clips done. All through a clean JTM50-type amp, througha Marshall 4x12. Speaker mic'ed was a G12H-100.
Guitar was a tele in all cases, with a single-coil sized GFS humbucker in the bridge. Neck pickup is a std tele single coil.
Here are the clips - http://www.box.net/shared/5vcbm8i5bv (remember - ALL with a telecaster !)
All the rhythm clips are the DM on it's own. All the lead lines are with it boosted with a BYOC TS, to give it a bit more "fatness". I've decided that I don't think it is such a great lead pedal, but still "awesomus maximus" for rhythm playing.

I'd love to read an actual comment on the clips. I didn't think they were that bad (well apart from the lead line one).

It certainly does what its supposed to! Sounds great for a pedal.

Sounded just like most other high gain pedals to me, sorry Alan!

No need to be sorry Dave. We all have different tastes. It's always difficult to translate what you like about a tone into a soundclip anyway. there's something about the upper mids in this one that I really like. I think it will cut through a band mix really well - I'll find out on sat !

Based on the clips (a bit short 8)),i would agree with you,Alan. The rythm-tracks sound very nice indeed! The lead-one,not that good but it could be better without the TS and/or with another guitar. For that kind of lead sound, the Tele is not ideal..Anyway,i hear some nice chewy (? :?) bottom end in the rythm tracks.Must be fun 8)!Have you tried it with another guitar yet?

Not yet. I'll play it with my Gordon Smith Graduate (quite like an SG) on saturday. Don't want to get the GS out until sat because I'm trying to squeeze one more gig out of the strings.

Can't say the tones really impressed me much :(

:D I thought they sounded great!
